Tommy Walter Alexander age 50 of Lexington, formerly of Decaturville, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. 
He was born May 12, 1973, in Parsons to Ronnie Alexander and the late Shirley Phillips Cox. Tommy enjoyed church, spending time with his family, most importantly, his grandchildren as his grandchildren was his whole world. Tommy also enjoyed playing the guitar and loved any kind of sports, especially his beloved Tennessee Vols. 
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, O.C. and Bessie Alexander and Walt and Agnes Phillips; brother, Timmy Alexander and grandson, Jeremiah Elrod.
Survivors include his wife, Tammie Wade Alexander; three daughters, Holly Elrod (TJ), Kali Campbell (Brandon) and Savannah Alexander; son, Andru Alexander (Melissa McDonald); father, Ronnie Alexander (Lisa); three step-brothers, Kenneth Cox, Jr. (Bonnie), Kerry Cox (Sheena), and Robert Cox; sister, Bessica Wyatt (Justin). Other survivors include ten grandchildren, Emma Reed, Charlee, Collin and Colten Elrod, Alaina, Sophia and Isabella Campbell, Brooklyn, Savannah and Memphis McDonald.
Serving as pallbearers are David Wells, Link Milan, Patrick Maness, Steven Ray Phillips, Mike Phillips, Corey Stewart, Rodney Singleton and Kevin Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Wilson, Bubby Phillips, Dylan Williams and Billy Gore.
A funeral service to celebrate Tommy's life will be conducted on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Gray's Chapel Pentecostal Church with Bro. Nathan Reeves and Bro. Mykul Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in the Gray's Chapel Church Cemetery. The Alexander family will receive friends at the church beginning on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. and continue until the service hour on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. 
The family requests those attending the service to wear Tennessee orange attire to celebrate Tommy's homegoing.
