Diane Stewart

Mrs. Diane Stewart, age 65 of  Decaturville , TN passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at her residence. She was born December 23, 1954 to the late Walter and Agnes Mayo Phillips. She was also preceded in death by three sisters: Magalene Newton, Melba Swindle, Shirley Cox. five brothers: Bill Phillips,  Mousie Phillips and three infant brothers. She was a homemaker and a caregiver.          

Survivors include:

Husband: John Dee Stewart of 45 years of Decaturville, TN

Daughters: Melanie (Kevin) William of Decaturville, TN

 Kimberly (Jason) Harris of Decaturville, TN

Son: Corey (Tiffany) Stewart of Decaturville, Tn

Grandchildren: Brooklyn (Eric) Dickerson, Katelyn (Steven) Mahoney, Gabbi Ellison, Dylan Williams, Peyton Ellison, Keenan Ellison, Khloe Williams, Cain Stewart

Great Grandchildren: Bryson Crittendon, Weston, Jackson and Emerson Dickerson, Rosaleigh Mahoney

While her time with us seemed so short the memories she made and the imprints she left on our hearts will last forever. Watching the Vols play football will never be the same, but we know she will forever cheer them on. She was our biggest supporter, the greatest wife, the best Mama and the most amazing Nana. She loved us each with tender loving and compassionate care. There wasn’t a soul who didn’t instantly love her, this beautiful woman lived a wonderful life. She will forever be missed and always remembered, Rest easy Angel, We all love you to the moon and back.

Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Gray’s Chapel Church with Bro. Raymond Roach and Bro. Welvon Mayo officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

 Visitation with the Stewart family will be Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 3:00 PM until service on Thursday at 2:00 PM. All visitation and service at Gray’s Chapel Church.
