Ruby Helen Johnson

Mrs. Ruby Helen Johnson, age 74 of Camden, TN passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Camden General Hospital. Mrs. Johnson was born on March 29, 1946 in Kansas City, MO to the late Frank Thurston and Goldie Mae Williams Thurston. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Harold Dean Thurston, Frank Thurston and sister Alice Ruth Crain. She was a retired seamstress with Bass Manufacturing and attended Prospect General Baptist Church.

Husband: Hubert Johnson of Camden, TN

Sons: John (Laura) Kenneth Gorbet of Kansas City, MO

         James Kirk Gorbet of Oklahoma City, OK

Daughter: Toni Johnson of Camden, TN

Sisters: Joyce Borgmier, Mary Rantz

Five Grandchildren

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 12 noon at Oakdale Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.
