Ray Tubbs

Mr. Carl Ray Tubbs, age 69 of Big Sandy, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Mr. Tubbs was born on July 5, 1950 in Benton County to the late Earl Ingram Tubbs and Pearlie Inez Russell Tubbs. He was also preceded in death by a sister Carolyn Sue Waters. Mr. Tubbs was retired from TVA after 34 years.  He was a member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 572 in Nashville, TN., and a member of Ramble Creek Baptist Church. He was a past Board of Director for Farm Bureau, a member of the Benton County School Board and supporter of Big Sandy Athletics.

Daughter: Christie Tubbs Craig of Big Sandy, TN

Sisters: Earline Farmer of Big Sandy, TN

Grandchildren: Dustin Ray (Codi) Tubbs, Reba (William) Rhodes, Loren (Kyle) Hollingworth,

Katelyn Tubbs (Ryan Holladay)

Great Grandchildren: Will Rhodes, Ashlee Rhodes, Haylee Rhodes, Kinslee Rhodes, Rowdy Rhodes (calf)

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2 pm at the Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in the Berry Cemetery.

Visitation with the Tubbs family will be on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 1:00-8:00 pm and again on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 10:00-2:00 p.m.
