Services for 85 year old Mary Helms of Holland, Missouri will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00 am at Powell Funeral Home in Steele, Missouri with Rev. Tim Fulks officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am and continue until service time. Burial will be in Camden City Cemetery in Camden, Tennessee with graveside service at 4:00 pm.
Mary Ellen Burkhead Helms was born on January 2, 1939 in Atkinson, Arkansas to Arvell Burkhead and Classie Cross Burkhead. She passed away on January 3, 2024 in Kennett, Missouri at the age of 85.
She was of the Pentecostal faith, loved her family very much, and also enjoyed traveling. She and her husband had owned and operated Helms Appliance in Holland, Missouri for many years.
She was united in marriage on April 22, 1956 to Ernest Helms, who preceded her in death.
