Mary Jane Gilbert

Mary Jane Gilbert, age 85, of Holladay, TN passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Jackson General Hospital. Mary was born July 11, 1938, in Waterloo, Iowa to the late Edward Moran and the late Ruth Chevalier Moran. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arnott Gilbert; son, Donald Gilbert; daughters, Stacey Hockey and Jane Price; son-in-law, Kenneth Ward; brothers, Edward Moran, Bill Moran, Tom Moran; and sisters, Madeline Moran, Bernadine Moran, and Grace Moran. 

Mary loved spending time with family, fishing, playing bingo, thrift store shopping, old country music, going to Nashville and especially her beloved sports team the Kansas City Chiefs. She had the most contagious laugh and will be loved and missed very much by all. Her favorite saying was “Heavens to Pepsi”.

Grandsons: Daniel (Ariel) Morgan and Dylan (Eileen Hoover) Wolfe

Great Grandchildren: Gabriel Kirkham, Cayden Calhoun, Elijah Kirkham, Talen Cooper, Brock Cooper, Noa Morgan, and Melody Morgan

The family has chosen cremation services.
