Josephine Marie Prince

Josephine Marie Burgess Prince affectionately known as Nanny Jo, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 15, 2024. She was one month shy of living 88 years. Full of happy years that she spent loving and serving others. She truly did have a servant’s heart and shared that with all she came in contact with. She will be missed terribly by her family and friends, but they find peace and hope in knowing she is with Jesus, and they will see her again.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilford Burgess and Velma Jack Burgess, several brothers, a sister, and her husband, William Earl Prince.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 4:30-8:00 PM and again on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 12:00-2:00 PM.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2 pm at the Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Shannon and Bro. David Sauer officiating. Burial will follow at Flatwoods Cemetery in Camden.
