Jerry Lynn Simpson

September 15, 1947 — November 23, 2019

Mr. Jerry Lynn Simpson, age 72 of Parsons, Tn passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Decatur County Hospital. Mr. Simpson was born September 15, 1947 in New Madrid, MO. He was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Patterson and his in-laws, Odell and Marie Harralston.  He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was retired from the Turney Center as a Correctional Officer for 30 years.

Wife: Pam Simpson of Parsons, TN

Parents: Loyne Simpson and Ann Porter Simpson of Lilbourn, MO

Sons: Steven (Rhonda) Simpson of Parsons, TN

          Scott (Jennifer) Simpson of FL

Brothers: Larry (Mary Lou) Simpson of Colorado Springs, CO

                Bobby Simpson of New Madrid, MO

                Dalton (Terri) Simpson of Portersville, MO

                Bruce Simpson of Sikeston, MO

                Brad Simpson of Farmington, MO

Sisters: Marcy Fauikner (Sam) of Kewanee, MO

             Sandy Thompson (Kenny) of Maldon, MO

Grandchildren: Briley, Chloe, Avery, Bella, Devin, Shayanna, Trent, Alex, McKenzie

Great Grandchild: Navy Allen

 

Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, November, 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.

Visitation with the Simpson family will be Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 10:00AM until 2:00 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home.
