James "Jim" William Morris

Mr. James William Morris, 66 of Wildersville, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Mr. Morris was born on August 10, 1954 in Cheatham County, TN. Mr. Morris was an Interviewer with the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy with 24 years of service. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church in Huntingdon, TN.

Wife: Paulette Allen Morris of Wildersville, TN

Sons: Jonathan Morris of Hendersonville, TN

          James C. (Carol) Johnson, Jr., of Gallatin, TN

          John Lewis (Brittany) Johnson of Madison, AL

         Daughter: Kathleen (John) Smith of Clarksville, TN

Grandchildren: Grace, Elijah, Jake, Macks, Charlie, Grayson, Paisleigh, Colby, Lennon

Preceded in death by his parents: Herbert and Mary Johnson

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10 am at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Carrigan and Rev. James C. Johnson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Camden City Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 pm and again on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 9:00-10:00 am.
