Emma Frances Sims

Emma Frances Sims, 96, of Madison, AL passed away on May 31, 2022 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, AL. Mrs. Sims was born on July 16, 1925 in Camden, TN to the late Fred H. Saunders and Maude Utley Saunders. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ernest Sims; son Fred Sims and grandson John David Sims. Mrs. Sims was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church for 60 years where she was a pianist. She was a charter member for over 50 years with the Daughters of the American Revolution, charter member of the Benton County Genealogical Society, life member of the Order of the Eastern Star and loved playing Bridge.

Survived by: Son John (Sandra) Sims of Madison, AL; Daughter in law Leigh Sims of Lebanon, TN; Grandchildren: Melissa (Tony) Ammonette, Michelle Grammatico, Emily (Shane) Stookey, Scott (Paula) Sims, Daniel (Demitria) Nance, Joseph (Bethany) Nance; Fifteen Great Grandchildren

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 1:30-2:30 pm at Liberty United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 2:30 pm at Liberty United Methodist Church with Bro. David Sauer officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery.
