Dean Waters

Mr. Harold Dean Waters, age 82 of Camden, TN passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Waters was born on March 7, 1937 in Benton County to the late John William Waters and Ina Catherine Sparks Waters. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Sue Nunnery Waters; brothers, John Thomas Waters, Jimmy Waters, James Ralph Bain; sister Olivia Waters; foster sisters Carolyn “Tot” Sparks, Mary Lou Sparks; foster brothers, Jack Sparks, Jim Sparks, Leonard Sparks, Donald Sparks; foster parents Buford & Ruby Sparks. Mr. Waters was a heavy equipment operator for 40 years with Inland Container and a member of the Rushing Creek Baptist Church since 1963. He was VIP Cruiser with 32 cruises and a 32nd degree Mason.

Daughter: Sheila (David) Gaskin of Camden, TN

Girlfriend & Companion: Gloria King of 18 years  Camden, TN

Sister: Betty Waters Howard of Paris, TN

Five Grandchildren: William (Bobbi) Waters, Missy (Ryan) Greer, Chad Waters, Evan Gaskin, Ashley Gaskin

Great Grandchildren: Ashlyn, Austin, Alex, Sidney

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 2 PM at the Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wesley Grooms officiating. Burial will follow in the Camden City Cemetery.

Visitation with the Waters family will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 10:00-2:00 pm.
