Betty Jean Smith

Betty Jean Smith, age 90, of Parsons, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Jackson, General Hospital. She was born October 19, 1933 to the late John Carr and Bessie Herrod Carr in Forest City, Ark. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Keith McKee, four brothers, John Carr Jr., Richard Carr, Thomas Carr, Charles Carr, one sister, Lola Pearl Carr. She was an assembly worker for Eaton Mfg. and was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church.

Husband: Gerald Smith of Parsons, TN

Daughters: Frances (Mickey) Jarvis of Memphis, TN

                   Patricia (James) Boatwright of Parsons, TN

                   Kathy (Wayne) Lacy of Decaturville, TN

                   Gail (Keith) Hayes of Decaturville, TN

Eight Grandchildren

Fifteen Great Grandchildren

Four Great Great Grandchildren

Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10:00-12:00 PM at Trinity Assembly of God Church.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Trinity Assembly of God Church with Bro. Keith Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery.
