Becky June Moody

Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" June Moody age 69 of Lexington formerly of Decatur County, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023, In Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born June 21, 1953, to the late William and Velma Swift. Mrs. Moody was a homemaker and a member of Amazing Grace ministries in Parsons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, Elizabeth Perkins and a sister-in-law, Jettie Swift.

Survivors include a son, Shawn Moody and wife Stormy of Lexington; two sisters, Joyce Blankenship of Brownsville and Gail Smith and husband Mike of Linden; three brothers, Jerry Swift and wife Grace, Bobbie Swift and wife Nellie and Ronnie Swift all of Decaturville. Other survivors include four grandchildren, Haylee Grace Moody, Baylee June Moody, Shelby Hemby and Madi Hemby.

A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Moody's life will be conducted Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Amazing Grace Ministries with the pastor, Bro. Chris Warren officiating.
