Ernest Johnston Sims

Mr. Ernest Johnston Sims, age 94 of Madison, AL (formerly of Camden, Tn) passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017. Mr. Sims was born on September 20, 1922 in Camden, Tn to the late John Morgan Sims and Lorene Smothers Sims. He was, also preceded by a son: Fred Sims, grandson: John David Sims, sister: Maxine Hansbrough. He was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church in Camden, TN, a Charter Member of Benton County Genealogical Society, was past President of The Tennessee Archaeological Association, a Mason and was, also a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Camden, TN. Visitation with the Sims family will be on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 PM
