Eugene Elroy Palmer

Mr. Eugene Elroy Palmer, age 92 of Camden, TN passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Palmer was born May 9, 1924 in Benton County to the late George Palmer and Lula Roark Palmer. He was, also preceded by five brothers: Aaron Palmer l W. Palmer, Charlie Palmer, Leland Palmer, Andy Palmer, eight sisters: Marie Presson, Lorene Presson, Alene Moody, Bessie Palmer, Jessie Love, Mildred Bell, Poly Goforth, Dorothy Davis. He was a retired owner operator of the Palmer Companies and attended Camden Church of God of Prophecy. Survivors include:Wife: Christine Clement Palmer of Camden, TNDaughters: Ann Palmer of Camden, TN                 Debra(Dewayne)Douglas of Camden, TN                 Joan Palmer of Camden, TN                 Son: Mark(Jackie)Palmer of Camden, TNGrandchildren: Bethany(Casey)Smith, Christina Forrest, Dianna(Lee)Douglass, Katy(Trevor)Busby, Kyle(Savannah)Palmer, Hunter Palmer,Ethan LavelleGreat Grandchildren: Payton, Elizabeth, Markus, Greyson, Colton, Weston, Klay, Trace and Clara Gene Great Great Grandchildren: Konner, Kole and GavinSister-in-law: Anita CollinsBrother-in-law: Earl DavisFuneral Services will be conducted Wednesday, March 22, 2017 2:00 PM in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral with Bro. Troy Redmond officiating. Interment will follow in the McRae's Chapel Cemetery in Big Sandy, Tn. Visitation with the Palmer family will be Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday from 8:00-2:00 PM.
