James Floyd Littles

Mr. James Floyd Littles, age 85 of Parsons, TN passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Littles was born March 12, 1933 to the late Willie Littles and Daisey Bailey Littles in Halls, TN. He was also preceded in death by one son: Jerry Littles. Mr. Littles was a resident of Decatur County for 45 years coming from Hobart, IN. He was a retired Steel Worker, attended First Baptist Church of Parsons, was a former Boy Scout Leader, Founder of the Vintage Volunteers singing group for 30 plus years, avid hunter and fisherman and one of the original Founder of Jeanette Fire Department Station 9.Survivors include:Wife: Marie Littles of Parsons, TNSon: Danny (Sylvia) Littles of Parsons, TNDaughter: Tina (Bill) Gibson of Panama City, FLDaughter-in-law: Bonnie Littles of Valparaiso, INSix Grandchildren: Cliff Starbuck (Lisa), Chantel Overby (Jason), Amber Chaffer (Brandon), Amanda Rainwater (Eric), Amy Vincent (Kyle), Heather Gibson and Chris Coleman.Nine GrandchildrenFuneral Services will be conducted Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home with Bro. James Smith officiating . Burial will follow in Decatur County Memorial Gardens.Visitation with the Littles family will be Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Oakdale Funeral Home from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and resume on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 12:00 noon and continue until service at 3:00 PM.
