David Carroll Acuff

Mr. David Carroll Acuff, Sr,  age 87 of Holladay, TN passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Green Crest Assisted Living in Parsons, TN. Mr. Acuff was born April 6, 1931 to the late Henderson Acuff and Oma Holt Acuff in Jasper, TN. He was also preceded in death by his wife: Audrey Jean Dhority Acuff and his best friend/companion, Elaine Maynard of Gleason, TN. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and was a Helicopter Mechanic. Survivors include:Sons: David Alan Acuff of Holladay, TN         Timothy (Rene'e) Acuff of Wildersville, TNDaughters: Carol J. Goff (Jon F.) of Thompsons Station, TN                 Debra A. Butters (Matthew) of Wildersville, TNFour GrandchildrenFive GrandchildrenFuneral Services will be conducted Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11 AM in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home- Decatur Conty with Bro. Don Franks officiating. Burial will follow in Suttles Chapel Cemetery with Military Honors.Visitation with the Acuff Family will be Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 5PM until 8PM and resume on Friday and continue until service at 11 AM.
